Sundarnagar: The Lloyd’s Metals Football Team delivered an impressive performance at the All India Football Tournament, organized by Netaji Yuva & Sporting Football Club, Sundarnagar, and proudly secured the Runners-Up position.
The Lloyd’s Metals team displayed outstanding teamwork, discipline, determination and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. Demonstrating remarkable consistency, the team won every match leading up to the Final, earning a well-deserved place in the championship match.
In the highly competitive Final, Lloyd’s Metals faced KKRCB Sundarnagar (Varveli Team). Both teams fought hard in a closely contested encounter. Lloyd’s Metals narrowly lost the Final by 0–1, finishing the tournament as the prestigious Runners-Up.
Reaching the Final after winning every match was a remarkable achievement and reflected the players’ dedication, preparation, unity and commitment to sporting excellence.
The memorable occasion was graced by Hon. Abdul Jamir Hakim (Bablubhaiya), Secretary, Vanvaibhav Shikshan Mandal, Aheri, and Smt. Shahintai Bablu Hakim (Bhabhiji), President, Drishti Foundation, Aheri. Their presence and encouragement provided valuable motivation to the players and added special significance to the occasion.
